A handmade circular plate with a hand cut and slip trailed border. The plate is decorated by cutting some stencils and splattering a manganese mix overtop. The paper pieces are then removed to reveal the plain tin glaze. Cobalt details and illustrations are then painted within the shapes. This piece features Oak leaves, Tulips and a Georgian house on the edge of a meadow, with a whippet running in front.

Please note: This is a decorative piece, therefore please wash with luke warm water and wipe clean. Never place into a dishwasher.

Tin Glazed Ceramics.
Inspired and informed by traditional ceramic shapes, but slab build to create a modern take on a traditional vessel. Each piece is handmade and bisque fired. They are then dipped in a Tin glaze with each one painted upon using oxides and pigments. These loose paintings upon the ceramics, make each piece an original work of art. Each piece is illustrated with a drawing inspired by places, historical and childhood stories.
