Silver Lustre Caddy - Romantic Vase
A Hexagonal Romantic vase, inspired by an antique tea caddy. The vase has been slip cast. Holes have been added to the top of the vase, to be used as a Tulip Vase for individual stems.
There are relief, slip trailed details around the holes on the top of the vase and around the base of the vase. The body is painted with a beautiful Rutile oxide and is fired.
It then goes in for a third firing after it has been decorated by painting the designs in a Silver Lustre.
There are birds, mice and foliage running around the vase. There are Greek Key paintings around the top and neck of the vase.

Please note: This is a decorative piece, therefore please wash with luke warm water and wipe clean. Never place into a dishwasher.

Tin Glazed Ceramics.
Inspired and informed by traditional ceramic shapes, but slab build to create a modern take on a traditional vessel. Each piece is handmade and bisque fired. They are then dipped in a Tin glaze with each one painted upon using oxides and pigments. These loose paintings upon the ceramics, make each piece an original work of art. Each piece is illustrated with a drawing inspired by places, historical and childhood stories.
